Wings of Eagles

The great eagle is likened to a wondrous thing,
When we see them flying, and the joy they bring.
Flying high in the sky with no thought of dread,
God sent the eagle to be free and wings that spread.
The things about them that make my heart sing.
They fly over rivers and land with sweetness to bring.
There is something about them flying toward the sky,
That makes me humble as they flap wings and go high.
I don’t know the reason why the eagles are here,
But God made them special and we love them so dear.
Eagle’s nests are high on a mountain or on a tree.
When I see them soaring I know they are free.
We go to the country to see the glorious trees.
As we look around, we see the eagle’s roosting in tree.
They have a mighty grace as they flap wings and fly.
Having that notion that that we’re standing by.
The eagle’s are not to be captured in any way.
We want to see them fly back for us to see every day.
When we look to the mountains and their nest is nigh,
We praise our God for sending our eagle’s to fly.
