Some often wonder, what is love, how can love, we see?
We all look at some point in life and wonder, could it be,
That there's really love somewhere out there on land or sea,
Can it truly be, that there's someone who could love me?

We can read Gods word and then we'll find for sure
That, yes, love is there and Gods love is so good and pure.
I don't believe I could give my child for anyone. I am weak,
But there's one who did, for our souls to seek.

He sent His Son to die upon a tree, could not look there, upon,
For sin is so foreign to God, in no way can sin, He atone ~
Except the giving of His Blessed Son to die on a tree ~
His blood to wash away the sins of all who believe, of you and me.

Thank you God for making a love so perfect, to behold.
Thank you my Savior Jesus, for staying in total control ~
Of a people full of sin and hardened hearts galore,
But my Father, you gave us Jesus, who is so much more . . .

Than the love of man, but He teaches us how to live,
How to love and how always, our tormentor, to forgive.
That is what love is, to walk in another's shoes, live in his skin,
Until you can reach the depth, of forgiveness, to love again.
