SHE DOTH WAIT

We lost a dear friend oh Lord, who is now there with Thee
Long ago she met Thee at the Altar, her sins to hide you see,
She was an inspiration to all who knew her, her love was true
That's why we have no doubt at all; She's now there with You.

We all will miss her charming good will and sweet smile,
Knowing we can bear the loss, as we will be with her, after a while,
We know she is safe from all grief and pain today,
As she rejoices there with loved ones who have already gone this way.

Up beyond the sky, to a river overflowing with pure sweet love.
With her Savior of Majesty who resides with her up above,
We miss her charm, her sweet smile, but we do understand,
She is so safe now, there with Jesus in this regal heavenly band.

Let us mourn her, but be happy too, that under Thy wing, You took her home,
Never more in this old world of sin to have to roam,
She was a soldier of the Cross, we rejoice that she lives on with Thee,
Until that joyful time when we all come on, in Precious victory.

So please tell her once again how much we love her, heart and soul,
And to see her sweet face beyond the shores of Heaven is our goal,
Lord, tell her we will see her again, but until then we shall await,
And know that her work's does surely meet her at the gate.
