Mama, I miss you throughout my being today.
I would so love to see you are all I can say.
I go back into remembrance and hold the love.
That I know you still hold for us there above.
You are in my heart most profoundly today.
As a mother and wife, you were the very best always.
My heart sees you from when I was small
To the days now and good in you is what I recall.
I am writing for both you Mama and Bill’s Mom too.
You both were to their children true blue.
I still have some of your things that I cannot toss away
Going in to see your things; going back remembering the day.
I still smell the perfume you wore to Church on Sunday
Some day in the future, I will be coming your way.
Then we can hug and worship our Lord together
Knowing in our soul, we will be with Him forever.
Days are passing Mama, and one day we will be there.
Maybe we can gather ‘round and to Jesus say a prayer.
Just know we love you both with no doubt at all
We will be there with you, when Jesus comes to call.
