Did you know my Lord waits for you and me?
In the beautiful valley, there is wonderful victory.
He waits patiently for each who believe
When we leave earth, our souls He will receive.

My soul He is seeking with glory in His heart
When I am with Him, He’ will never part
He wears the crown of glory, on His Fathers’ throne
Come; trust Him, that one day you too will go home.

The mountain is high, though the valley is down low
Jesus wants to be close to us and the Valley is where He’ll go.
He has waited forever for us to answer the call
We need to love and believe in Christ; above all.

Glory in the valley, when we see Him waiting there.
Praising Jesus, we will go to Him in prayer.
We will thank Him for loving us, forgiving all
On the day, He comes for us, standing tall.

When we are in Heaven, let us bow our head low
For this wondrous Savior that makes our hearts love; grow.
He will forgive every sin; He will make Heaven aglow,
His star shall still be shinning, far in the valley below.
