As I look out in the morning, at the fresh green and flowers everywhere,
I feel a song inside my heart, its Jesus I’m kneeling to in Holy Prayer,
He’s a song inside my heart that makes it beat faster somehow,
So as I look down in the green valleys filled with love, my soul wants to bow.

Bow down to Him as he fills my heart with song, and I know it wont be long,
‘Til I’m with Him, in the Heaven he declared for you and me long ago,
He sat aside a place for us who love Him, paved the streets with gold,
Placed a tree of life on either side of the river of life, in His word I’m told.

I look out into the ocean and seashore, and find myself with this song,
Going on inside my heart, This Savior will never, ever leave me alone,
He’s the wonder of my universe and soul; He’s the song inside my heart,
He’s the light of my life, and in this life and the next, from me He’ll never part.

In the desert, there’s the rose with a thorn that stings when touched upon,
But the beauty of the flower makes it worth a little hurt, just to bring it along,
To show unto others, this truth which I have found inside my heart today,
With this song inside my heart and with Jesus to show me the way.

Come, go with me there, you’ll learn, and the song will be the greatest joy,
This side of Heaven, for its from the Master, to each man, woman, girl or boy,
He makes no difference in our color, or language, just the love we have for He,
Who will forever, be the sweetest song inside this heart of you and me.
