I can remember the time when you were born,
This wiggly little babe so early in the morn.
You were mothers little doll, and Daddy's baby too,
The whole town was so proud of you.
You were a cute little toddler , with pretty little curls,
Pretty little dresses made for a precious little girl.
Mother sits sewing all day and half of the night,
She wanted her little girl to be dressed "just right".
Time has gone on now, and you're a lady so wise,
Sweet, and loving as ever I would surmise.
Helping other people's little children, born to do good,
Mom and Dad would be so proud baby, I know they would.
Just keep being the wonderful Lady that you are,
I know Our Lord's watching over you, He's not very far.
I know He'll Bless you, and all the hard work you've done,
And when He comes for us, He'll say you're mine, little one.
