On my list of favorite people, is this wonderful nephew of mine,
Always helping someone, wonderfully sentimental and kind.
Always there for everyone, it's just his way you see
And so I'm wishing him a very happy birthday, and many more to be.

Wish I'd have made him a cake, with frosting piled up high,
And placed on top a medal, for this very wonderful guy.
Maybe an extra special feature, lacy icing all around the side,
Or maybe out to paint the town, a joyful birthday ride.

Have his family all around him, watch him blow out the candle,
Take a birthday picture of him, and set it for all to see, high up on the mantle.
Wouldn't it just be great, if all the whole world could come to see,
What a happy birthday this is for him, how he's loved by all, including me.

Surely Santa will pay a visit this year, to this wonderful guy,
No telling how many he's helped, this year that's passing by.
I know he's dearly loved, by his family, and all who's passed his way,
We love you James, and hope you have a very, very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
